PERFORMANCE⌄
- To increase the rigidity and durability of its components, the internal spiral of blades has a rod welded along the entire length of the drum, using stamped blades sized to mix (not just agitate) the internal concrete and achieve outstanding efficiency both in the concrete mixing process when rotating in one direction, and in the quick and efficient discharge of concrete when rotating in the opposite direction.
- All MTM Drums are mounted after an in-depth load distribution analysis that ensures an optimal center of gravity, thereby providing unbeatable safety for the chassis-mixer drum assembly, easy driving of the unit, and lower maintenance costs for chassis components such as tires, brakes, suspension, etc.
- The rotation of the mixer drum is achieved through an Italian gear reduction box from PMP, widely recognized and used in European, American, and Asian markets.
CHASSIS REQUIREMENTS AND SPECIFICATIONS⌄
This dimension requires the use of a 3-axle (6×4) chassis with 30,000 kg Gross Vehicle Weight, available with chassis brands of European or Asian origin or inspiration present in the market.
CONSTRUCTION SPECIFICATIONS⌄
- The high efficiency in mixing concretes with slump values between 8 and 14 achieves the optimal mix in minutes at the batching plant facilities after 70 revolutions. The notable durability of the mixing drum is achieved using high-strength AR200 steel with hardness >200 Brinell degrees, with a 1/4″ inch thickness in both the drum body, the internal blades, and the drum head.
- The paint and surface finish are achieved through prior cleaning with shot blasting, application of primer, and superior durability and gloss paint using polyurethane-based materials, followed by final curing in enclosed ovens.
- Additionally, the maintenance of our Drums has been optimized by redesigning components such as the front pedestal with side opening that facilitates access to important points.
